Akwa Ibom SUBEB Recruitment Requirements
To be considered for the teaching positions, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Candidates must be indigenes of Akwa Ibom State.
- Applicants must be aged 35 years or younger.
- Only candidates who have received their certificates are eligible. Applications from individuals with statements of results or awaiting results will not be accepted.
- Applicants currently enrolled in the N-Power or FTS programs are ineligible.
- Candidates with any history of cultism or association with cult groups are not eligible to apply.
Qualifications Required for Appointment
To qualify for an appointment, candidates must possess one of the following academic qualifications:
- Applicants must hold an NCE from a recognized College of Education, excluding certificates from the National Teachers’ Institute (NTI). Candidates with a pass grade in their NCE are not eligible.
- Candidates holding a B.Ed degree must have graduated with at least a 2nd Class Lower Division. Additionally, they must have either completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme or received an exemption.
